This year at our Summer School, we had students from Kesatuan Bangsa Bilingual Boarding School. During their time here they have been on a journey around Yorkshire and the rest of the UK, all while receiving comprehensive English Language Lessons and Tutoring.
YES has now been accredited by the British Council accreditation scheme. This demonstrates that the quality of education we provide is of a very high standard. You can always be sure that you are in safe hands, whatever your learning needs may be.
We would like to thank our whole team who always work tirelessly, and put in their best efforts everyday teaching English at YES. This achievement will encourage us to continue challenging ourselves and creating the best environment for our learners in Huddersfield.
If you love experimenting with different types of food, you should try the Ugarit restaurant. The restaurant has excellent reviews and is very near to the English School, within three minutes walking distance.
This restaurant offers authentic Syrian & Lebanese food, which is the traditional cuisine of the Levant, known in Arabic as the Bilad ash-Sham and Mashriq, which covers a large area of the Eastern Mediterranean.
Eggplant (aubergine), garlic, meat (particularly lamb and mutton), rice, chickpeas, lentils and mint are popular ingredients in Arab cuisine.
Ugarit has a selection of appetizers known as “meze” which are customarily served along with Arabic bread before the main course. This is followed by coffee served with sweets or fruits.
Ugarit restaurant is a member of the Yorkshire English School PEN (Practice English Network) group. Students can enjoy putting their English skills to the test by engaging in conversations with friendly and welcoming staff.
