What is the age requirement?
The minimum age to attend English lessons is 10 years old. Younger children are welcome in family packages without lessons—they can enjoy optional afternoon activities and family accommodation.
Can parents study English too?
Yes! Optional English lessons for parents are available at extra cost. Parents can study while their children are in school, or explore Yorkshire during the day.
What is included in the Family package?
All family packages include accommodation, summer school for children, English lessons with qualified teachers, and admin fees. Optional extras include afternoon activities, parent lessons, and Saturday full-day trips.
What is the cancellation policy?
If your visa is rejected, we offer a full refund except for the £200 non-refundable registration fee per student. Other cancellations are assessed case-by-case.
Are Halal meals available?
Yes, all meals provided by YES are Halal by default. We also accommodate other dietary requirements and allergies.
What should families bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, warm and waterproof clothing, a travel SIM card, and universal travel adaptors. All other essentials are provided in the accommodation.
Is airport transfer included?
Airport transfers are not included in family packages but can be arranged from £100 per transfer from Manchester or Leeds airports.
Can families join for just 1 week?
The minimum duration for family packages is 2 weeks, ensuring children have enough time to settle in and make meaningful progress.
